Our client is an independent housing company providing more than 9,000 quality affordable homes within the Trafford area of Manchester. They are a “profit-for-purpose” organisation, striving for a society transformed, free from poverty, inequality and injustice. They also have Gold status IIP accreditation.
A vacancy has arisen within their Repairs Team for an Administration Officer. The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of IT and office equipment and have previous experience of administrative processes. The main responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- Maintain and continually develop the Aids and Adaptations administration process for both minor and major adaptations.
- Arrange appointments for engineers to carry out cyclical works and ensure effective use of engineers time.
- Ensure customer interactions are managed professionally, on time and to a high quality.
- Carry out a tenant liaison role, booking in work and keeping customers up to date on larger contracts. Arrange pre entry surveys/dilapidation inspections. Collate customer satisfaction for all insourced works.
- Invoice all works to third parties.
- Provide general administrative duties for the in house contract team.
