Lab Supervisor (Manufacturing) - Glasgow, Scotland
Currently recruiting for a Lab Supervisor (Manufacturing) on behalf of a global, award winning Pharmaceutical Company based in Glasgow, Scotland.
Your role:
Working in their biologics Manufacturing team, you will be responsible for line management of members of the manufacturing team conducting customer driven manufacturing campaigns.
With a solid understanding of GMP production activities and experience in mammalian cell culture and aseptic processing activities, you will be a key person working with the manufacturing team both to complete customer productions and line management activities such as appraisals, one to ones, progressing development and co-ordinating training.
Who you are:
- You have an HND or higher in a Biological Science discipline and at least 5 years proven work experience in a GMP regulated environment.
- You will have proven people management skills and be able to conduct one to ones, appraisals, goal setting and assist with development plans
- You will have good leadership skills
- You have experience in regulatory inspections (e.g. MHRA, FDA) in a Manufacturing environment
- You are strongly focused on quality and safety with good attention to detail.
- You have strong planning and organisational skills
- You have good communication and interpersonal skills
- You are self motivated with strong initiative and drive
- You are able to work in a Grade B cleanroom production environment
- You have a good standard of written and spoken English and are computer literate
