Electrical Project Engineer/Manager - Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Hertfordshire and Essex - Commercial Projects

A specialist Building Services Contractor are recruiting for an Electrical Project Engineer/Manager to work on Commercial projects on various sites across Suffolk, Hertfordshire and Essex. They are an established company that provide premier mechanical and electrical engineering services for public and private sector clients in commercial and industrial markets undertaking projects within various sectors including the Student Accommodation, Shopping Centres, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, education and leisure. 

As the Electrical Project Engineer you will work within an established team on projects to the value of £20million, previous experience working on commercial sectors is essential. 

As the Electrical Project Engineer you will be responsible to produce a materials, subcontractor, installation, procurement and drawing programme to accord with installation and specification requirements. Throughout the installation its essential you manage labour and subcontractors ensuring compliance with specification and contract documentation. 

Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:

• Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of electrical systems and their installation methods.
• Time-Served Apprentice or relevant electrical qualifications
• Consistently good financial returns on projects, taking into account all relevant factors.
• Good people management and motivational skills.
• The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines.
• The ability to plan ahead, co-ordinate and prioritise workloads.
