I am looking for a Finance Assistant to join a leading Exeter employer at the forefront of its industry. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for a highly-experienced candidate to work within a growing team. Responsibilities for this role include: The processing of all company invoices, ensuring correct authorisation and codingReconciliation of supplier statementsTo check, code and process company expense claimsTo process payments runs and supplier paymentsBank statement reconciliationTo assist with the preparation of monthly management accountsThe calculation and posting of accruals and pre-paymentsThe completion of balance sheet reconciliationsTo assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly VAT returns Requirements for this role include: At least 3 years finance experience in a similar roleAAT qualified level 3 or 4Knowledge and experience of Sage 50Excellent interpersonal skillsAdvanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Word and Excel.Ability to work methodically, accurately and with attention to detail.
