Job Title: MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Salary: GBP40,000 plus overtime, plus benefits

This Blue Chip FMCG Organisation are recruiting NOW for Maintenance Engineers, to join an engineering team in Dartford, working in a world class facility incorporating the latest automated technology. You will come from an electrical maintenance background, ideally in a fast moving engineering environment, where you are used to thinking fast and solving problems quickly.
In return, this company offer a competitive salary of GBP40K including shift allowance, for a 12 hour days / nights shift pattern.

Provide solutions and technology to the FMCG, Distribution and Logistics sector worldwide
Provide GBP Multi Million Highly Automated Distribution Facilities
Offer excellent training and development opportunities
The Role:-
Learn and undertake breakdown maintenance of site automation as required, and carry out and assist in PPM
Complete breakdown reports and shift logs including any issues arising on shift which may have or had an effect on the performance of the site equipment and / or the maintenance department
Liaise with production to ensure workload is prioritised correctly
Learn and undertake, improvement, repairs and modifications
Assist in project installation work including cost reduction
Provide and assist facility maintenance cover when necessary
The Suitable Candidate:-
NVQ level 3 in engineering.
A recognised engineering qualification (C&G 236, ONC), or equivalent
Ideally HNC, HND but not essential.
Experienced Maintenance Engineer from an Electrical background
Ideally from a fast moving, automation related, or customer focussed engineering environment
Knowledge of programmable logic controls (PLC's)
17th Edition qualification
Must be a team player with excellent problem solving skills
Possess a full clean driving licence
Understand and adhere to all company, legislative and H&S procedures
Be flexible and self-motivated
