A leading designer and manufacturer of innovative detection products are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the growing R+D team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will play a key part in the design and delivery of new and existing products. This role will as a Mechanical Design Engineer will enable you to act as a lead in the design and development of a range of new and exciting products.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Producing effective new product designs to specifications
- Work to time scales specified in the NPD Programme
- Produce detailed engineering drawings
- Act as the mechanical design lead when required
- Work with development engineers and electronic engineers
- Complete design work utilising SolidWorks
