Cambourne Village College, a new, over-subscribed, Ofsted ‘Outstanding' secondary school eight miles from Cambridge, opened as an academy of the Cam Academy Trust in September 2013. As our first cohort of pupils reaches Year 11 in September 2017, we are seeking to appoint an Exams Officer to continue to build our team.
The Exams Officer/General Administrator is responsible for the efficient running of the examination system within the school and will work within the Exams office and Admin departments of the College. The post holder will be expected to undertake a range of exam related administrative duties and must be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office packages. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills and verbal and written communications skills. Experience of working in a school or busy office environment is beneficial.
Role: Exams Officer/General Administrator (commencing September 2017)
Salary: Scale 5 (range 22 - 25 £20,661 to £22,658 FTE) pro rata salary paid for 44.28 weeks (term time plus 5 trainings days and holiday pay)
Contract: Permanent, 30 hours per week, term time plus training day (39 weeks per year - term time plus 5 training days)
