Operations Manager (Wind) Job Opening in Glasgow, Scotland
Due to continued operational growth, our client is looking for an Operations Manager to be responsible for all day to day operations associated with the company's Wind division. We are looking for a someone that has had experience in the operational control within the onshore wind sector in any part of the supply chain.
The vacancy is based in Glasgow on a 5 day schedule but there may be travel involved to Scotland wide site visits and client visits to locations in Europe. Responsibilities include:
- Daily Operational Control of our Wind Division Department
- Production of monthly reports as required to Directors.
- Ensuring Company Adherence to all relevant safety authority enforcements.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies.
- Liaise With Clients
- Continual Site Inspections/Visits.
- Implementation and maintenance of job specific Method Statements, Risk Assessments and COSHH Assessments.
- Performing regular audits in respect of HSE, Quality and Environmental Systems/Procedures.
- Continual promotion of a positive safety culture within the organisation.
- Maintenance of Works Schedules for Company Wind Division.
- Responsibility for day to day operations of Wind Division processes and movements.
Key skills and requirements
- A formally recognised Health and Safety Qualification
- Experience in Company Operations within the renewable sector
- Membership of IOSH
