Senior Planner - Birmingham
Leading Property consultancy
GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 + comprehensive benefits package (Car, Bonus, Pension, Healthcare, CPD etc)
Penguin are pleased to be working with a leading property consultancy in Birmingham who are looking to recruit a Senior Town Planner to work on small and large scale developments across multiple sectors, covering the Midlands & the South West.
The successful candidate will work out of the central Birmingham office on small and large scale developments across the Residential, Mixed Use, Retail, Commercial & Leisure sectors across the West & East Midlands as well as the South West.
The opportunity
Our client has a nationwide presence and this role will focus on a broad spectrum of projects in the West & East Midlands but in conjunction with the London team cover the South West also.
Current projects include a 750 and 4000 unit residential schemes on the outskirts of Birmingham and 2 large regeneration projects that include 6000 square foot of commercial space, 600 apartments and Retail buildings (In the West Midlands and South West).
Job requirements
-MRTPI or be close to submitting your log book
-Previous consultancy and/or local authority experience
-Good knowledge of the UK planning system
-Strong written and communication skills
-Ambition to progress
-Desire to support junior team members
