We are seeking candidates with significant postgraduate experience within a Geotechnical consultancy who possess a significant grasp of major civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will lead project design teams delivering geotechnical solutions a across the highways, rail and civil engineering sectors.
Candidates are required to have:
* An MEng/BEng in Geotechnical Engineering or a relevant discipline
* Chartership or approaching chartership
* Minimum of 8 years' experience in Geotechnical Engineering and Geotechnical Design
* Experience of the preparation of contract documents and contract administration for Geotechnical projects
* Experience of supervising a Geotechnical Team
* Experience with Geotechnical processes such as
* Earthworks Design and Remediation
* Slope Stability
* Shallow and Piled Foundations
* Retaining Walls
* Ground Improvement
* Geoenvironmental Engineering
A successful candidate will have the opportunity to head a unique multidisciplinary team, where they will be working with a range of professionals from across the Engineering and Environmental teams.
As a Principal Geotechnical Engineer you will be required to tackle complex Geotechnical Design Projects such as bridge replacement, earthworks remediation and slope support. Experience in the infrastructure industry will be beneficial to a candidate.
