Maintenance Engineer - Building Services

The site in Milton Keynes is over 150,000 sq. ft. with state of the art production lines, all designed to service the UK market and facilitate growth.
A new position of Building Maintenance Assistant Manager, a pivotal role in the smooth running of the production facility will be key to our objectives.
As Building Maintenance Assistant Manager you will be responsible for the following:
- Development of PPM schedules for the facilities
- Organising reactive maintenance for the building
- Providing some hands on maintenance and breakdown cover when required
- Achieving key performance indicators with respect to equipment performance
- Developing standards and specifications
- Planning and organising contractors on site
- Promoting quality and safety standards
- Focusing on continuous improvement
This role will be 50:50 between on site and office.
You will need the following skills and experience:
- Experience working as a recognised engineer within industrial building maintenance
- Working in a construction trade (plumbing, electrical, masonry, heating systems etc.)
- Manufacturing building maintenance experience - preferably FMCG production
- Health and safety knowledge
- Proven track record in driving projects and managing contractors
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
