Grade: Future Schools Trust Scheme 8

Salary: GBP16,414 - GBP18,812 per annum

(Pro rata from GBP23,990 - GBP27,494 for a full time, all year round appointment)

Future Schools Trust requires an Inclusion Room Supervisor at the New Line Learning Academy who will be responsible for supporting and supervising pupils in the Internal Exclusion Room. The postholder, in accordance to school policies and procedures, will help students focus within a structured and calm environment to facilitate in returning them back to lessons.

This role will involve liaising with subject teachers to allocate appropriate work for the students and maintaining a working environment that is conducive to learning. Whilst working with the students, you will identify barriers to their learning and help to develop strategies to overcome these through a period of reflection.

A good understanding of IT and data analysis is required in order to maintain records of pupil attendance as well as monitoring and collating data on behaviour for reports on students.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal, be approachable and have the ability to build relationships across the school. You will be seen as a professional with integrity and enthusiasm for this area. You will need to use your own initiative and be able to manage a varied workload, accommodating the needs of individual students. Previous experience of working within a school would be advantageous.
