Are you a Production Supervisor/ Team Leader who enjoys working nights and would like to work for an award winning global brand based in Mansfield? We are recruiting for a Night Shift Production Supervisor working 10pm-6am Monday to Friday, who wants to take the lead for the shift earning a salary of GBP19k plus shift % (GBP24700) plus 25 days holiday!!
As Production Supervisor you will be managing a team of 14 including production operatives, quality inspector, moulding technicians and team leaders, taking accountability for the performance of the shift including quality, cost, delivery, safety and people management.
You will have budgetary control as well as responsibility for the achievement of KPIs, and lead on continuous improvement of production activities in relation to cost, quality, delivery and people.
It is essential that you have previous experience as a Production Team Leader/ Supervisor, able to demonstrate excellent people management skills (including conducting disciplinaries and appraisals), leading by example. You will have at least 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally qualified in an engineering or manufacturing discipline.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and implementation of continuous improvement is advantageous. You will also need to be IT literate with knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, email and MRP systems. Any previous experience of injection moulding is desirable but not essential.
