Our Client is a National Engineering Company.
They currently have a vacancy for a Service Centre Manager within their area depot in Maidenhead.
This is a key role with prime responsibility to ensure the site operation achieves agreed profitability and working capital targets whilst ensuring that service level and contractual commitments are fulfilled.
The main function of this role is the management of the Service Centre, which is responsible for the repair and maintenance of rotating plant both on site, and in the companies workshops.
About You:
Experience of working in a Mechanical engineering environment
Experience of maintenance/repair of Industrial and Commercial plant.
Experience of managing a team.
Good customer facing communication and negotiating skills.
Proficient user of windows based programmes.
Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally .
What the role involves:
Management of the workshop activities.
Developing the business to achieve and exceed targets.
Analysing the service performance with service personnel.
Monitoring key customer accounts with the sales personnel.
Reporting progress, sales figures the Regional Manager.
Promoting health and safety in the workplace.
Financial
Understanding of Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet structures.
This is a permanent position with one of the top 100 employers in the UK.
The salary is negotiable and includes a company car
