JS Recruitment are working with an ambitious design and planning consultancy located close to the motorway networks on the outskirts of Wakefield. They require a Graduate/Junior CAD Technician to assist their team in producing engineering drawings. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, positive in their approach, willing to learn and hold a Civil Engineering Degree/Qualification. Knowledge of AutoCAD would also be beneficial.

Job Description
• Prepare drawings in accordance with the instructions
• Check the accuracy of drawings
• Ensure work is compliant with standards and guidelines
• Complete drawings to a consistently high standard and in accordance with deadlines set
• Assist the team as required
• Undertake any necessary training
Person Specification
• Civil Engineering Degree/Qualification
• Knowledge of 2D AutoCAD would be beneficial
• Enthusiastic approach and 'Can Do' attitude
• Good attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to use initiative whilst also working as part of a team
• UK Driving Licence and use of own vehicle
