We are currently recruiting for a Nursery Chef to join our Nursery in Beaulieu, Chelmsford due to open mid 2017!

Bright Horizons are opening a brand new 80 place Nursery in a fantastic location in Chelmsford, the Nursery will have 5 rooms, a large outdoor play area and offering her a Home from Home environment.

Please note that we have work available in the local area where you can complete your training an induction until Chelmsford opens.

The role is full time and is paying a competitive salary of GBP8 - GBP9 per hour (depending on experience).

Your role as Nursery Cook will include:

  • Preparing and delivery of nutritionally balanced, attractive family-style meals for all children aged 3 months - 5 years

  • Planning menus, taking into account the nursery budget, the foods in season, local availability and nutritional requirements for children

  • Ensuring that hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchen is of the highest standard in accordance with Environmental Health requirements and legislation

  • Following kitchen procedures and maintain records in accordance with Environmental Health policies and processes
