Business Development Executive
Job type: Permanent
Salary: Experience Dependent
Location: Brampton - Due to location, own transport is essential
Due to rapid expansion, my client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and driven individual who is looking to establish a career in Business Development.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will liaise between the Sales and Marketing team and be responsible for the following:
Generating leads through cold calling on the telephone and by email
Driving marketing campaigns and sales opportunities
Meeting with potential clients and representing the business
Establishing and building effective relationships
Proactively seeking new business opportunities in the market place
Awareness of competitor activity and reacting accordingly
Collating figures and reports to be discussed in meetings
What we want from you:
Experience of cold calling and a positive telephone manner
An understanding of CRM systems and the ability to record information accurately and follow up
Experience of KPI's and be driven to meet targets and deadlines
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present well to clients
The ability to influence and negotiate at all levels
A strong understanding of social media and the benefits of each platform
