The purpose of this role is to support the Charles River Start of Day process and my client's internal customers. Responsibilities include -To act as a point of contact for clients providing SME as required. -Responsible for training junior team members, providing support and coaching. -Perform end to end corporate actions and income processing, including cash reconciliations. -Represent the team in client meetings and contribute for a desired outcome. -Provide support to the investment transaction services team with processing trades across various security types. -Provide support to he Static Data team with setting up new securities across various investment types. -Work closely with internal and external customers to resolve issues and deal with queries in an efficient manner. -Ensure that all operating procedures are in place, complete, updated and adhered to as defined. -Complete all daily and periodic tasks, to maintain and sign off against controls. -Promote a culture of root cause analysis to prevent reoccurence of exeptions. -Actively contribute and particapate in continuous improvement and productivity initivates. -Maintaining a sound working relationship with external vendors and custodians; being able to evaluate their performance and provide constructive feedback. Essential Requirements -Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) or equivalent is essential. -At least 2 years expeience working in either Asset Management, Fund Administration or Custody. -Proven experience within end to end Corporate Action and Income processing. -Strong experience with security trade processing. -Strong understanding of investment instruments such as equities, derivatives fixed income etc.. -Understanding of coporate action national market practices. Knowledge of global emerging markets would be a plus. -Effective communications skills in all channels of intercation. -User knowledge of Hiportfolio, TCS Bancs, SmartStream TM, Charles River, Aladdin, Bloomberg and custodian systems would be a plus. -Ability to work within a small team under a follow-the-sun operating model. -Experience in relationship management and working closely with customers. -Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. -Ability to analyse problems, identify root cause and develop the appropriate solutions. -Proactive approach to Continuous Improvement and Productivity. -Good IT skills (intermediate or above in Microsoft applications)
