Engineering Supervisor - Farnborough
Aramark Workplace Solutions (AWS) is currently recruiting for an Engineering Supervisor. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will require travel between sites as required
The successful candidate will be working on a single Technical Services Account and will be based at their home address, but expected to travel around the Surrey and Hampshire regions.
Normal working hours are 08.00 to 17.00 Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the service related industry that Aramark Workplace Solutions operates in, a high degree of flexibility is required.
The role is critical to maintaining Client Business functions and includes responsibility for the Operational Performance and Safety of the Client premises at all times and will also include responsibility for Specialist Subcontractors employed under the contract by AWS or by the Client.
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
*Perform scheduled PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) tasks within set SLA's and to industry standards.
*Provide site audits and inspections, for in house and sub contract activity.
*Audit statutory compliance site paperwork and audit log books to ensure certification is present and valid.
*Liaise with customer site managers and co-workers to resolve any escalated incidents.
*Manage AWS specialized Sub-contractors and any Client sub-contractors as required.
*Support the Client with their day to day activities, with respect to H&S, supply of tools and materials, customer liaison.
*Enforce effective administration processes and the keeping of archive data as well as Maintaining Operational and Maintenance manuals.
*Provide direction to AWS engineers and GO's
*Support the Facilities Help Desk
*Be an advocate for continuous improvement initiatives.
*He / She will provide regular, accurate reporting to his/her Line Manager.
*Internal department interaction within AWS. The role ensures that this interaction is effective, courteous and useful at all times.
*Ensuring compliance with all health and safety legislation.
*Ensure all engineers work safely and effectively and portray a professional image at all times.
*Follow all company guidelines and complete internal documentation as required.
Candidates must possess
*A Technical Qualification in an appropriate Engineering background being multi skilled in Electrical or Air-conditioning
*A high level Mechanical Services working knowledge
*IT Literate
*Previous Management experience of a Multi-Function Team preferred but not essential.
*Excellent Communication skills both written and oral
*Self-focussed, motivated and willingness to provide excellent customer service
*Must be able to work on your own initiative as well as within a team
*Desire the opportunity to work towards career enhancing opportunities be demonstrating
*Self-motivational skill and the ability to manage a team.
