One of their global design centres is based in Scotlands central belt from where they undertake design projects on behalf of European and International customers. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Process Engineer PCBA/ SMT job based in Scotland to join this leading electronics manufacturer.Due to continued growth they are seeking a Senior Process Engineer PCBA/SMT to be the interface with the factory technical staff and with corporate engineering to define opportunities for standards development and cost savings. This role is typically focused on high complexity manufacturing processes and is key to the standardisation and advancement of the processes. This role is also responsible for solving high level customer / assembly specific problems in the manufacturing process.Key skills/experience:This person must have in depth process and equipment knowledge. Awareness of Oil and Gas products would be advantageous but process and equipment knowledge is vital. Processes will cover SMT, Wave Solder including HMP Soldering, Conformal Coating, Potting, retinning components etcCandidates will ideally be qualified to a degree level in a related discipline and be eligible to work in the UK without restriction.This is a great chance to join a growing company who can offer career progression and personal development.
