Operational Financial Controller - Urgent Requirement
Vacancy Ref:
Venn Group are currently recruiting for an Operational Financial Controller to join a global leader in the aerospace and defence industry on an interim basis. This role would suit someone who holds extensive budgetary creation and control experience and ideally applicants will be available at no more than 1 weeks notice.
Location: Bristol
Rate: Up to GBP27 p/h
Contract: 12 months initially - extension likely
Duties:
- Hold responsibility for the operational financial control of the business unit including budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
- Coordinate and execute all budget planning activities
- Build, consolidate and distribute monthly financial reporting materials
- Coordinate and prepare operational planning and forecasts for the assigned organisational unit including consolidation
- Deliver financial and resource reports and analysis to Centre Controlling and Operations on a monthly basis
- Challenge Operations on Opex (Operational Expenditure) and Capex (Capitalised Expenditure) for the assigned organizational unit
- Monitor internal and external costs (subcontracting, equipment) according to operational targets
Required Experience:
- SAP is essential
- Microsoft Office experience inc. MS Excel (pivots, lookups, formulae)
- Excellent operational and budgetary control experience
- Manufacturing or aerospace industry experience is essential
