Broadreach Recruitment are currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Team Leader for our clients based in Chard.
Main Duties:
- Manage the Warehouse and loading of finished products onto vehicles efficiently loading according to site schedule
- Optimising the warehouse capacity
- The management of inter-site transfers, customer collections, ensuring stock is accurately accounted for and stored efficiently and effectively.
- Manage the receipt of incoming goods, carrying out inspection of goods to ensure compliance with purchase orders and quality standards.
- Driving performance and efficiency in the team that you manage to ensure that cost and service are delivered on in line with business budgets
- Working closely and motivating your team to support the achievement of team/department/site objectives.
- Sharing and replicating good practice with colleagues to improve processes and work through issues to resolution.
- Engage in the selection and monitoring of Logistics organisations to provide best options for UK, European and transatlantic transportation.
- Identify areas for improvement within the warehouse and ensure that new ideas are developed, documented and implemented to agreed standards.
Ideally you will have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience of supervising a warehouse team
- Stock Management techniques
- An understanding of MRP systems
- A good level of Health & Safety understanding in Warehousing & Logistics.
- A FLT license holder is desirable.
