Barchester Healthcare is looking for an outstanding 2nd Chef to
provide first class food and hospitality within the needs of a care
home environment.

As 2nd Chef with Barchester, you will demonstrate creative flair,
nutritional understanding and leadership skills, combined with a

within our homes.
You will support and deputise for the Head Chef to ensure that all
food not only looks and tastes delicious but also reflects the
preferences and dietary requirements of each resident. You will assist
the Head Chef to design menus, manage all aspects of the kitchen,
control the budget and lead the catering team.
A Basic Food Hygiene certificate is required and a catering
qualification such as City & Guilds 706 1/2 or equivalent is
ideally required for this role, as is experience in a similar position.

private hospitals in the North East specialising in mental health. We
