Job Title: Gas Engineer
Parkdean Resorts are delighted to be recruiting an LPG Qualified Gas Engineer into the Established Maintenance Team at our Sandylands Holiday Park based in Scotland. Reporting into the Maintenance Manager, you will provide gas testing of holiday homes including fault finding and repairs to cookers, boilers and fires.
You will do this by delivering the highest standards of maintenance within the holiday homes, all indoor facilities and all external areas within the site are achieved, adhering to all company best practice and legal requirements in order to provide a safe and attractive outdoor environment for holidaymakers, owners and staff.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Ensuring that maintenance jobs reported to reception and are attended to promptly.
*Filling in Prime Safety checks as and when required.
*Signing out keys and return same on completion of duty.
*To respect and leave accommodations clean after attending jobs.
*Reporting all breakdowns, breakages and damage to your Manager immediately.
*Maintaining all machinery and equipment in a clean and serviceable condition.
*Ensuring the security and safety of equipment at all times.
*Checking gas usage and requirements and electricity usage as instructed.
*Ensuring that grounds are kept neat and tidy at all times, which will include gardening duties.
We are ideally looking for people with the following:
Qualifications:
*CCLP1LAV & CCLP1RPH
*HTRLP2 (caravan specific gas fire)
*CENWAT (central heating & water heaters)
*CKR1 (cooker)
*CPA1 (combustion analysis)
*DAH1 (warm air heater)
*MET1 (gas meter)
*CCLP1PD
Experience:
*Have relevant experience within this industry
*Be hardworking with a hands-on approach to working
*Be reliable and committed
*Have excellent communication skills
*Be Gas Safe Registered
*Have LPG Gas for Caravans
*Have a full Driving Licence
*Gas Meter or Warm Air System would be desirable.
