An overview of the opportunity...

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced developer with exceptional web development skills to be a part of a team, building our next generation of business software. The role would suit someone who has previous experience of developing complex applications, centred on order processing and accounts. The primary focus of the role will be taking ownership of specific functional areas which form part of our flag-ship product suite.

Key Responsibilities…

  • Analysis and development of new features
  • Bug fixes across our platform and applications using the agile scrum methodology
  • Development throughout the web stack, from front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) through back-end technologies, RDBMS’s and supporting technologies
  • Supporting the quality assurance function, including development of test automation frameworks
  • Working towards continuous integration and delivery

The ideal candidate’s skills...

  • Java / C#
  • Javascript including newer EcmaScript specification
  • Knowledge of React.js and associated libraries such as Redux
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  • Version control systems such as Git
  • Development tools such as Webpack, NPM etc.
