Classroom Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a classroom assistant for a school in Stockport that requires you to work on a day to day supply basis and will be to start imminently.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise work that has been set by a teacher

• Manage the behaviour of pupils whilst they are undertaking this work to ensure a constructive environment
• Respond to any questions from pupils about process and procedures
• Deal with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school's policies and procedures

Requirements:

• You will need to have experience working with children along with a strong record of achievement and commitment.
• Confidence within the classroom
• Good time management
• Excellent communication skills
