Catering Manager– Business & Industry- Manchester Area- £28k- £30k

Due to continued expansion we have a fantastic opportunity for a Catering Manager based in the Manchester area. Our sites offer a service that can include a breakfast, lunchtime, evening and night service as well as vending and hospitality for the site. The role is a full time position working usually Monday - Friday typically a 7am start (40 hours per week) however some flexibility will be required.

About the role:

Day to day the role involves you managing a brigade of around 15, your main purpose is making sure the unit runs smoothly. This will involve - Assisting and supporting the Head Chef with cooking/food preparation, collating and creating menus, site costing's and finances, audits, ordering and regular client meetings. As the Manager you will report into the Area Operations Manager. We are looking for candidates with a background of Chef Management within Business and Industry sites. This is a great opportunity for a hands on cooking biased Catering Manager. Servest pride ourselves on delivering a diverse range of fresh foods whilst adding value to the food offering. As Catering Manager will need to have the following:

A background as a craft trained Catering Manager and/or Chef Manager within a Business and Industry site

Experience in managing a team of at least 10

Quality cooking standards whilst being conscious of the set budgets and the nutritional needs within a similar environment

The ability to lead by example and build a team

Superb customer service skills

Sound financial awareness with the ability to manage the site P & L accounts
