Operating within the Chief Information Security Office, this role is critical to the on-going development, maintenance and continuous improvement of our global physical security capability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify physical security threats & risks to our; people, assets, operations and reputation and ensure mitigation and controls are designed and managed effectively

Ensure that policies, standards and controls are appropriate to provide an effective and integrated physical security environment, against a backdrop of changing business priorities

Provide governance and oversight to applied policy and standards and assure compliance to standards, key risk indicators and key performance indicators

Conduct site specific security assurance reviews as part of a rolling global programme

Skilful, collaborative interaction with a wide range of high-level internal and external contacts, representing the Chief Information Security Office in a positive manner, often when dealing with sensitive issues

Manages investigations and incidents in line with relevant legislation and company processes and makes decisions to protect our people and our organisation

Drive continuous improvements which enhance our overall physical security culture and capability across the global organisation

Designs and delivers training of staff up to Executive level to ensure physical security and resilience is embedded with the organisation and policy requirements are maintained

Maintains up to date knowledge of industry best practices

Qualifications

KEY COMPETENCIES/EXPERIENCE

-Managing or leading security operations or similar position

-Knowledge of security protocols and procedures

-Conducting and reviewing threat and risk assessments

-Auditing or compliance assuring against policies and/or standards

-Experience in working within large and complex organisations

-Proven experience of working on own initiative and within multi-skilled teams

-Experienced in managing, analysing and interpreting statistical data

-Outstanding organisational and leadership skills

-Knowledge and experience of security system specification and standards
