An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contract Test Development Engineer Electronics based in Hertfordshire to join one of the world leaders in their specialist electronic equipment industry. Our client is a wellestablished UK market leader providing test solutions globally and due to companys growth they have been expanding their engineering department over recent months. The position will be a diverse role so they are open to someone with some hardware design background that has some programming experience.My client is using LabVIEW but if you are using another language for programming ATE equipment, they would still be keen to see your application.Responsibilities of the Contract Test Development Engineer Electronics job:As part of a multidisciplinary R&D team will be responsible for defining and developing complex automatic test solutions and equipment for design verification as well as production testing. Will get involved in electronic equipment and PCB design, LabVIEW test software generation, providing all necessary documentation and development and support of production test procedures.
