Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
PERMANENT- FULL TIME
SALARY: GBP24,300- GBP27,300, plus Shift Premium where applicable (up to 20%), Overtime and On-Call Payments

We are currently seeking to recruit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team based at our modern distribution site in Duxford, Cambridgeshire (DC10).
What you'll be doing
As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be part of a highly skilled engineering team responsible for all electro-mechanical equipment at Cambridge Assessments two distribution sites, Duxford and Papworth (DC20).
The role will include:
• Managing planned maintenance using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) in order to maintain the highest levels of reliability and maximize efficiency.
• Conducting reactive repair work to agreed priority/timescales.
• Assisting with the upkeep of procedural and maintenance records, and to assist with the cataloguing and periodic auditing of all technical support documentation.
• Offering engineering expertise to the operations teams in relation to the continuous improvement of the electro-mechanical equipment.
• Assisting with the conduct of risk assessments for all supported equipment.
What we're looking for
The successful candidate will be a qualified electrical technician with a good all round knowledge and practical ability in mechanics/pneumatics/hydraulics. You will also be qualified to at least an ONC/HNC or equivalent standard in Engineering with complimentary Health and Safety experience and IOSH training/certification.
In addition, it would be desirable to hold the Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671: 2008 (2382-15), but training will be provided for an applicant with suitable qualifications/aptitude (above) and the ability to pass the examination requirements.
You will be computer literate (preferably with experience of using MS Office and CMMS systems) and have excellent problem solving and analytical fault finding skills. A flexible working approach is a must as well as good interpersonal, team-working and customer service skills.
