Manager, Customer Credit Risk

Description
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Customer Credit Risk, you'll support the delivery of the customer agenda for Retail and Consumer Credit Risk (RCCR) by developing and maintaining customer-level credit strategies and policy rules, creating and updating customer credit risk appetite, and delivering deep customer insights. Working with our stakeholders you will have ample opportunity to influence, develop and maintain great relationships across Risk, Product, Channel and IT functions.
You'll have a good numerate degree, a strong analytical background and excellent knowledge of SAS/SQL.
You'll also have sound experience of leading and developing a team of Analysts and a strong track record of developing credit strategies and/or delivering analytical insight, ideally acquired in a Credit Risk function or similar Financial Services environment.

Key accountabilities
- Leading analysis to develop, validate, monitor and assess RCCRs common customer-level credit strategies and policy rules, and developing and delivering proposals for change
- Define change requirements and oversee the delivery of updates to credit controls and credit risk strategy
- Manage the development and delivery of customer risk appetite, including monthly reporting and annual re-statement
- Lead customer insight investigations, and manage the delivery of customer credit risk reporting within the team
- Management responsibility for analysts and industrial placement students within the team
- Planning the delivery of work for yourself and analysts within the team
