Architectural Bronze Ltd has a unique opportunity available for a Technical Project Manager to join the team in Grantham, Lincolnshire. The role is a full time, permanent position working 42.5 hours per week Monday-Fri, 8.00am-5.00pm. We are offering the Technical Project Manager a competitive salary.

Coupled with our reputation for high quality and bespoke service, our products are increasingly specified across a wide market from private restoration projects to prestigious luxury developments and hotels.

Due to an increasing workload, Architectural Bronze Ltd is looking to recruit a Technical Project Manager to join the business. The role will involve travelling nationwide (and occasionally overseas) to attend client meetings, covering final detail and specifications, carrying out detailed site surveys, liaising with architects and other contractors and the production of all working drawings and detail for manufacture and installation. 

What are the responsibilities of the Technical Project Manager?

- Producing drawings and documentation to accurately manufacture components and goods

- Developing the skills and product knowledge to generate accurate and clear drawings for clients and production

- Understanding the current product range, manufacture methods and the changing requirements of the fenestration industry

- Providing the growing business with drawings and technical support

- Confirming client approval and manufacture drawings for glazing, windows and doors and issuing relevant drawings to manufacture

- Working with our designers, issue drawings to clients, discussing and confirming their design requirements before manufacture

- Maintaining the drawing library and client drawing registers

- Providing technical support through the manufacture process

- Conducting site surveys and producing specifications

What skills do I need to have to become a Technical Project Manager?

- An understanding of and experience in using AutoCAD

- Be a competent user of Microsoft Office

- Previous surveying skills would be advantageous, as would previous site and project management experience

- Able to work to specific procedures and maintain consistency of approach

- Valid UK Driving License

- Excellent communication skills are essential

- Good problem solving skills and a proactive approach

- Strong organisational skills alongside meticulous attention to detail

- A strong team ethic and good time management skills are necessary, with an ability to work under pressure and meet target dates
