An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Senior Surveyor to join us, to be site based in or around Witney, Oxford. The office location is in Milton Keynes.
Within this role, you will be responsible for all commercial functions of the contracts allocated. This will include issuing contractual notices and communications both up and down stream, reporting monthly against budgets and ensuring subcontractors are paid at the appropriate times. You will also prepare and submit external valuations where appropriate on regular basis to ensure Mears Group receive full payment for works. You will also meet and/or exceed budgets/targets set at the commencement of the project.
In order to be successful in this role, you will have substantial contracting experience coupled with extensive experience overall. With previous experience of working at Senior Surveyor level, you will have commercial acumen and an understanding of forms of Contracts (JCT, PPC etc.). A very high level of Excel skills is also important.
