CMM Service Engineer required for our client, a specialist in Measuring Equipment and CMM works across the Aerospace, Automotive, Nuclear and precision engineering industries (amongst others) Nationwide to name a few. Due to expansion and a growing demand in business, our client requires an experienced and capable Metrology Engineer with a strong mechanical or electrical background (preferably both) whose duties would be the Service, Repair and Calibration of Coordinate Measuring Machines across the UK, with occasional international trips on offer too.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience carrying out Service, Repair and Calibration works on a range of CMM machines. Experience on manufacturer systems such as Renishaw, Hexagon, Wenzel, Nikon, Mitutoyo are all desirable but not essential - this role is also open to technically minded engineers with an Electrical or Mechanical bias who wishes to expand their skill set.
This is a client facing role with much of the company's generated work coming from repeat business. Therefore, good communication skills are essential. Ideal candidates will live somewhere across the midlands patch, where the clients head offices are located.
