CNC Press Brake Setter / Operator - Temp to Perm - Newtown
ITR Personnel are recruiting for an experienced CNC Press Brake Setter / Operator for an established manufacturer in the Mid-Wales area who are undergoing considerable growth at the moment. This permanent role will suit an experienced Press Brake Setter / Operator who is looking for a new role with growth potential. The role will lead to a Team Leader / Shift Supervisor role so previous experience leading teams or shifts is advantageous though not essential.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
• Must be able to read drawings and work to tight tolerances
• Experienced in shaping material precisely with computerised repeatability.
• Short runs, bespoke batches as well as larger runs
• Efficient set-up time, fast and flexible with accuracy and precision
• You MUST therefore be an experienced Setter to be considered.
You'll be a good team player and have a stable work history. Please note that there is regular lifting involved so you must be physically fit to be considered.
The role is ideally working across a 06:00 - 14:00 // 14:00 - 22:00 split shift, though applicants looking for a straight day shift will be considered.
You'll ideally have experience with hydraulic Press Brakes.
Salary will range from GBP10.50 - GBP13.00 per hour, depending on experience.
The site is rural and so will ideally suit applicants with their own transport and is commutable from Telford, Shrewsbury, Welshpool, Newton, Oswestry, Wrexham, Ellesmere, Ludlow etc
