Embedded Firmware Engineer

Embedded Firmware Engineer based in Northamptonshire required to join one of the world leaders in their high technology industry. They currently require an Embedded Firmware Engineer to join their rapidly expanding R&D department.This position will involve working within an experienced Software department, developing a range of software and firmware for a range of embedded applications.Key Responsibilities for the Embedded Firmware Engineer job will include:Generating requirements for new product, porting and code developments for new products.Maintenance updates for existing productsWork closely with Hardware and other Software engineering teams to improve and develop prototype products.Skills and Competencies for the Embedded Firmware Engineer will include:Degree or equivalent experience in Electronics, Computer Science, or related discipline.Proven experience in Embedded Software developmentStrong understanding of C RTOS knowledge of VxWorks, Integrity, QNX, WindowsCE would be advantageous.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, dynamic team of development engineers working on the next generation of their complex, high speed digital electronic products.If you have any specific questions about this Embedded Firmware Engineer job based in Northamptonshire please call Dale Barnett on ##### ######.
