An exciting opportunity has arisen for a crane service engineer on a permanent basis for an award winning PM Crane Supplier. We are looking for a candidate who is looking either to move their career to this established company or begin a new career in engineering.
As a service engineer you will have the following responsibilities:
Before Training
`` Carry out basic crane repairs as instructed
`` Attend training courses and complete/ pass the course
`` To be on time & professional at customer sites
`` Completing paperwork efficiently and accurately
`` To work to and adhere all Health and Safety procedures to protect themselves and colleagues
After training is completed
`` Carry out LOLER inspections through thorough examination and testing
`` Carry out hydraulic repairs
`` Carry out electrical repairs
`` Carry out welding repairs
A successful candidate will have the following:
`` Extensive experience in service engineering- cranes/ lifting experience would be beneficial
`` Engineering qualifications or trainee experience in hydraulics/ electrics or commercial vehicles
`` Two work references must be provided and verified before any offer of employment is given

Hours of work:
`` Hours are varied throughout the week. Candidates must be willing to work up to 50/60 hours a week during busy times

Rate of pay:
`` Rate of pay is dependent on experience. Full training will be provided and following this there will be a pay increase
