Design Co-ordinator - Portsmouth - 8 month contract
This Design Co-ordinator's role is with one of the UK's leading main contractors. They undertake a wide range of projects in the commercial and public sectors ranging in value from GBP5 - GBP30million.
We have a current requirement for a Design Co-ordinator on a fixed term or freelance basis for an 8 month duration. The project is new build warehouse/distribution centre with a value of circa GBP8million.
As the Design Co-ordinator you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and co-ordinated development of the design process to accord with the Employers Requirements, the development of the Contractor's Proposals and ensuring that designs are in accordance with the contract. You will also co-ordinate the design process during the project and prepare a design management plan to identify the scope and requirements for the delivery of designs from the consultants and ensure it is carried out appropriately.
This is an urgent role and is an immediate start following a successful interview
