Barnardo's has been successfully running children's services in Gloucester since 2010. Building on the success of children's centres, Barnardo's has been commissioned by Gloucestershire County Council to deliver a new targeted family support service for local families with children aged 0-11yrs from April 2017. This new service forms an integral part of the Early Help offer in the county and will run from 6 designated Children and Family Centres across the City - Kingsholm, Finlay, Linden, Matson, Bartongate, Tuffley.
We are looking to recruit a part-time Centre Facilitator to work from our Matson site. This vacancy is permanent and would be to work Wednesdays-Fridays - 21.75 hours per week, all year round.
The main duties of the role would include:
- Facilitating the provision of a welcoming and inclusive front of house service (reception) for all families and professionals visiting or contacting a centre.
- Being part of a wider admin team providing consistent administrative support to the service.
- Facilitating all diary and room booking requests from external partners and agencies.
- To record monitoring data on our Liquid Logic database.
- To work with the Partnership Administrator to ensure all Health and Safety requirements are met.
- To assist the Partnership Administrator to ensure all issues related to the buildings and property are addressed.
