Immediate opportunities available for experienced Project Managers to deliver Manufacturing IT Solutions to blue chip UK manufacturing organisations.
The Project Managers will coordinate the delivery of Manufacturing IT projects working alongside skilled Architects & Engineers, OEM Solution Providers, Strategic Partners and direct customer facing.
Duties will include:
?Under the direction of the UK Programme Manager, take full ownership of the management of projects through the complete project lifecycle
?Deliver projects to time, cost and high quality ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, value for their money and a profitable return
?Deliver Technical Manufacturing IT projects
?
The sucessful candidate will ideally have c2 years' experience in a Project Management role, or completed the same period specifically in a manufacturing environment as a senior/lead engineer or project coordinator and is now looking to move in to project management. It is essential you possess an appreciation of the key Project Management skills i.e. planning, monitoring, reporting, team motivation, risk management and the key interaction of Scope, Time, Cost & Quality. Also sought:
?An understanding of Project Management theory and methodologies
?Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills
?Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes & Automation
?Experience of the deployment and/or integration of IT components & systems into a shop floor environment which should ideally include MES, SCADA or PLC solutions
?Excellent communication skills
Prince2, PMI or APM qualifcations advantageous, however training can be provided.
The KPI's in this role are to deliver shop floor projects to time, cost and quality whilst achieving maximum value & benefit for end customers across various industries including automotive, aerospace, food, beverage and r&d.
Willingness to spend time based on customer sites and travel throughout the United Kingdom is part of this role as is the potential to be based on international customer sites for short periods. Possession of current driving licence is essential in this position, as is eligibility for a minimum of UK security clearance if required.
