Service Engineer Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

INTRO
As a busy refrigeration and air conditioning service business, my client has secured many long term service contracts with businesses across Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. These range from individual businesses and blue chip organisations and even include some impressive domestic homes.
Due to a period of significant growth and the award of additional contracts, they are now looking to build their team with an additional Service Engineer to ensure that they are able to continue to service their customers' engineering needs to the high standards expected.
THE ROLE
As Service Engineer for refrigeration and air conditioning you will:
- Attend contracts to provide planned and preventative servicing, as well as responding to breakdowns
- Work independently or as part of a team to install, service or maintain a cross-section of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
- Provide a professional service to the business and be the face of the company in front of customers
- Maintain and repair industrial refrigeration, coolers, ice machines and air conditioning units
- Deal with the majority of mechanical issues and some electrical (this is mainly to ensure service and isolating off machines prior to working on them)
- Provide technical support and advice to customers relating to work to be done
- Work on a call-out rota
THE PERSON
In order to be considered for this Service Engineer role it is expected that you will have:
- Experience of working on commercial refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
- Carry F-Gas certification
- Have experience of a range of coolants (R134a / R404a / RE407c etc.)
- Have sound mechanical service skills, along with experience of working on 240v and 3 phase supplies
- A full UK driving licence
- Good customer facing skills and experience
- Good prioritising skills and the ability to work to tight timescales
