Who you'll be working for:
A large Civil Engineering contractor working within the Telecoms, Rail, Energy, Water and Electricity Sectors across Ireland and the UK, due to ongoing project work and expansion of their business across Ireland, currently have an opportunity for an experienced Civils Supervisor / Site Agent / Senior Engineer to lead a team in the construction and maintenance of utility works across Northern Ireland.
A growing and successful company employing over 5,000 staff globally generating revenues in excess of GBP400Mil.
What you'll need to have:
The successful candidate will preferably be a degree qualified civil engineer, have a minimum of 6 years' experience in civil works within the utilities sector, with experience as a Supervisor, having held responsibility for the Management of Civil program's, adherence to quality and H&S standards and ensuring client satisfaction.
What you'll be doing:
Reporting to the Civil Manager, key duties will include:
• Ensuring team compliance of Company/Legislative Health , Safety and Environmental policies
• Completing all works to the required Company, Client and local authorities standards
• Compliance with road opening licenses
• Ensuring team compliance with road works Signing, lighting and guarding
• The ordering of all required materials
• The Excavation and Reinstatement of the public highway for the laying of communication ducting , Construction of Under chambers and the erection of Communication street side cabinets
• The clearance of Sites
• Your team's daily work site progress
• The timely updating of electronic job packs
• Good upkeep of issued vehicle plant/equipment
• Liaising with affected third parties
