Contract Senior NPI Engineer

Redline currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Experienced Contract Senior NPI Engineer based in County Durham. We are currently working with one of the countrys leading suppliers to the Automotive industry to help introduce a number of new products.The purpose of the Contract Senior NPI Engineer will be to track and facilitate all aspects of new product launch into the facility.Summary of Main Duties & Responsibilities:* Manage team of NPI Engineers * Introduction of new / transferred production into site* Provide link between Plant and Customer* Conduct project gateway reviews for Management and report risk analysis.* Manage meetings with Customers either on site or at customer locations. * Complete overall program timing charts to summarise both company & customer activities. * Report programme status to Operations Management/all internal parties to facilitate error free launches.* Organise and manage trial and major milestones pre SOP builds.* Coordinate changes to current products.The ideal Contract Senior NPI Engineer will have experience in a similar role within a modern fast moving environment combined with project management skills.
