About You:

We require a numerate, computer-literate person, with a full UK driving licence, who can relate easily to customers, and work very well as part of a team to deliver a first-class job. Service Advisor Job Description:

Plans and co-ordinates Service activity to meet customer requirements and maximize workshop utilization and profitability.

- Builds rapport and qualifies the customer's requirements.

> Talks and listens to customers to build rapport and understand their service/repair requirements.
> Uses a good understanding of the customer's needs to guide them towards the product/service that will best meet their needs.

- Agrees the details of the work that is to be carried out.

> Provides accurate estimates for servicing and repairs, clarifying warranty qualification where appropriate and ensuring that the customer is fully aware of the likely costs and timescales involved, setting expectations accordingly.
> Schedules work to meet customer requirements, taking into account workshop utilization targets, job complexity and parts availability.
> Encourages the sale of genuine parts and accessories whenever possible, acting on opportunities to sell additional products/services and market current promotions.
> Ensures correct handling and identification of safety recall/customer service campaigns in line with manufacturer's policy.
> As a Service Advisor you will organise vehicle delivery/collection or loan car arrangements. Hands over loan car keys once all checks are complete and ensures that the customer is happy with the vehicle.

- Co-ordinates workshop activity to deliver agreed work.

> Liaises with Aftersales to order parts. Notifies customer on arrival to allow work to be scheduled and minimize parts stockholdings.
> Writes job card, detailing any special requirements and distributes to the workshop briefing technicians where appropriate.
> Co-ordinates cleaning of customer's vehicle and any other work to be sublet e.g. paintwork, as appropriate.
> Organizes the collection and delivery of cars for service or repair.
> Updates customer database to maintain accurate records of work carried out and aid future prospecting.

Service Advisor Main Job Objectives.

> To operate "Best Practice" policy at all times.
> To meet and exceed targets and sales objectives.
> To ensure customer satisfaction and services are fully understood and assist with reviewed processes if required.
> To maintain and work to Toyota TSM and Retail Concept standards.
> Continuously conforms to after sales process and systems to deliver increased levels of Customer Satisfaction whilst maximising profitability.
> Ensure you are fully conversant with and working in line with the Toyota and the dealership Sales Track.
> To protect and build upon Toyota's brand values and standards.
> To maintain acceptable standards of conduct and dress at all times.
