We are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Wincanton for an HGV mechanic due to their current mechanic retiring.
You will need to have thorough knowledge of HGV vehicles as well as the ability to keep accurate maintenance service records. A class 1 HGV license is essential.
* Salary circa GBP12.00 p/hour (negotiable)
* Weekday working only (Mon - Fri)
* Workwear and PPE provided
* Weekly salary
* Opportunity of overtime
* Automatic enrolment to state pension scheme
* A part time position would also be considered
Experience in the servicing, maintenance and record keeping of an HGV fleet is essential.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines. At least 3 years experience as an HGV mechanic is highly desirable as well as a class 1 (C + E) license to take vehicle to and from the test centre
