Please note that this is a full-time contract role starting from mid-June to the end of October 2017. There may be a possibility of extension subject to business requirements.

This company is the leading media company in the food and drink industry worldwide. With an ever growing B2B audience, they are continuously on the lookout for new innovations and products to share with their audience across a wide range of platforms.

They are looking for a motivated, target-driven individual to help them secure entries into their awards schemes. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving the targeted amount of entries via email and telephone communication thus ensuring that the awards are a success.

The role of the Sales & Marketing Executive will market the awards scheme to a range of clients on a global scale, including CEOs, Marketing Directors and Marketing Managers, of small and large enterprises. The marketing focus is to gain awards entries from a wide range of businesses and countries.

The key responsibilities will include:
- Contacting as many sales targets as possible via email, phone and social media leads.
- Prioritising sales leads.
- Managing a sales pipeline.
- Ensuring that the revenue targets are met and exceeded.
- Supporting the marketing department and awards communication structure.
- Ensuring large companies come in as well as small, to ensure event credibility.
- To assist with post-deadline processes.

They would be interested in hearing from you, if you have the following competencies:
- Confident at selling on the phone.
- Confident talking to people where English isn't their first language.
- Accurate written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
- Experience in tracking response rates.
- Experience in a telesales style role is desirable but not essential.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Planning and organising.
- Proactivity and initiative.

Key result areas
- Uncapped commission on OTE.
- Achieving and exceeding the revenue target.
- Developing and improving the CRM database with relevant contacts.

- Salary starting from GBP18,000 pro-rata per annum depending on experience

- Hours 37.5 per week Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00
