Hours: Full Time, 45-50 hrs per week
Holiday: 28 days including public holidays
This company's core capability is enabling environmental compliance: providing effective solutions for the legal compliance of wastewater discharges and air emissions.
They serve all of the UK wastewater utility companies and their Tier 1 contractors. They are also well-established in the waste industry and have clients in many different industrial sectors: petrochemical, medical, chemical, food processing, energy, mining, quarrying, and steel.
Position overview
You will be an enthusiastic, proactive, honest and hard-working individual with a 'can-do' attitude, working as an installation and maintenance engineer in a busy and growing organisation.
You must be willing and able to travel throughout the UK and possibly overseas, with overnights away from home as required - sometimes being away for a full week and returning home for the weekend. You will need to be fit, self-initiated and able to overcome challenges that arise on site, and have the ability to meet targets and deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience
- Broad working knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment
- Past experience with wastewater treatment equipment and/or the wastewater industry
- Past experience relevant to the job role
- Past experience with most, if not all, of the following:
a. Rotating equipment such as bearings, couplings and gearboxes for shaft diameters of
