The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll provide a rapid response service to maintenance and breakdown issues throughout our client’s plant.
Specifically, you will:
- Maintain plant equipment and efficiency in-line with company standards
- Co-ordinate shift maintenance activities with the Engineering Team to deliver planned, reactive and autonomous maintenance
- Manage and improve H&S, hygiene quality and food safety standards
- Facilitate and implement continuous improvement activities
- Cover essential elements of the Engineering Manager’s role in their absence
- Participate and support external visits and audits
About You
To be considered, you will need:
- To have experience of leading a technical team
- To be a time served, qualified electrician with a PLC qualification and experience
- At least three years’ post-qualified troubleshooting and repair experience
- Extensive experience and knowledge of engineering stores, stock management and preventative maintenance
- Experience and knowledge of delivering CI activities
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a highly-organised approach
