Our client is a busy legal practice established for over 150 years, with offices at Great Yarmouth, Gorleston and Lowestoft. They have a first class reputation and they are very proud that more than 70% of the firm’s work comes from repeat business or by direct client recommendation.
Our client seeks a legal secretary/audio typist for their busy Great Yarmouth office. Experience in conveyancing or family law would be an advantage.
The position is required for either 4 or 5 days a week on a permanent basis.
The role requires an individual with audio typing experience and the ability to confidently use IT such as Word and Excel.
You will often be the first point of contact for client queries on the telephone and face to face so must have excellent communication skills.
Duties will include the following:
- Extensive audio typing using digital dictation software
- Dealing with post and general administration
- Preparing and producing documents
- Dealing with clients on the telephone and face to face
- Arranging client meetings
- Typing for other departments as required
- Working as a team with other secretarial colleagues
