We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our busy Operations team.

Reporting to the Planning and Dispatch Manager, Ringwood. You will be responsible for the effective and efficient scheduling of planned maintenance, reactive work and installations for a team of engineers.

Planning and Dispatch Co-ordinator / Engineer Scheduler Responsibilities include:

• Planning repairs and installations within a defined region of the country
• Maximise daily booking value to ensure month end revenue figure is achieved
• Liaising with clients to ensure the schedule of work has minimal impact on the operation of their business
• Scheduling PPM contracts for minor and major account customers in a timely fashion
• To ensure all bookings are made as effectively and cost efficiently as possible
• Sending engineers their work load on a daily basis
• Ensuring all parts and/or equipment are delivered in line with the scheduled works
• Raising All Purchase Orders for material / plant / Sub Contractors & GRN on receipt.

Planning and Dispatch Co-ordinator / Engineer Scheduler Experience, Skills and Knowledge required:

• Capable of working under pressure and managing a busy workload
• Excellent communication skills with both colleagues and customers
• Capable of maintaining a working relationship with repeat customers
• Able to work within a team to create logistical solutions
• Previous experience in a similar role is desired
• Experience of working in a high pressure service related environment
• Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office packages
• Experience with SAP would be advantageous
• Evidence of successfully working in a target orientated environment
• Basic understanding of engineering and surveying
